Iditarod

Richard and Majbritt picked us up this morning at 7:15am and we headed downtown to watch the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. Chilly but the sun came out and it warmed up abit. We had a great breakfast with the senator and then went down to the races. Govenor Palin was also attending. Fabulous time and it was so exciting, interesting, and fun!

Chelsi got beautiful pink roses and I get to look at them!

We had a wonderful dinner of Alaskan King Crab Legs, baked potatoes with sour cream, salad, and I actually made raspberry Napoleons! The crab was sooooo yummy that that is all Kelli ate! The legs were soooo big that even broken they were hanging out of the pot. Terrific! The napoleons were superb, but we were all so full of crab and potatoes that we hardly appreciated them!

Thanks to "Got Paint" with em, I finally finished my PARIS mini album. Only 2 years later!!! Thanks Bonnie Eck for talking me into attending "Paper & Co. Show"! It was so inspiring and so much fun!
