Journaling on the *SHOE* card!

All of my "SHOE" stories relate to me Big Feet! Ever been asked if your summer job was putting out forest fires? How about "you must have a large understanding of that position". At my 10 year reunion my High School boyfriend said, "Glad to see your waterskis under the table, Cheri!" Definately Character Building! Now at least there are cute shoes for size 11's. My tennis shoes were always mens and my first pair of cowboy boots were mens too! Oh well... I quess I do have a great understanding of alot of things!

#6 & I did a transfer!

OK OK---so I get excited about new things! I have never done a transfer before and I did one from a picture of an oriental rug in a magazine. It turned out just fine and I used it on this card! Liked doing this one>>>it was just plain fun! *L*O*V*E*

Duthie Park Flowers

Oh, it was gorgeous in Duthie today! Snowy and cold outside, but warm and toasty inside. I went for my usual cup of tea and got a bowl of stovie with oatcakes and beetroot along with it. It just looked so good.

Elizabeth and I wandered around the winter gardens for awhile, settling in the Arid cactus hall, where I took a few pictures. We then moved on to one of our favorite flower spots and drew away!

Here is #5!

Finally got some stamps to use on #5. Took me awhile to decide what to use and then I just didn't get any mail! So, I searched through old envelopes, etc. and came up with some fun stuff! I love mail, stamps, post boxes, cute postmen, ect. (Had a wonderful time at the National Postal Museum in DC). This card was patched up a few times with masking tape---I kept smearing the writing! Tried to pull it all together with a light coat of green acrylic paint. It is fun to just experiment without any true goal in sight!
